Dr. Nicole Barton is originally from Chicago, IL where she pursued a career in nursing and worked in emergency medicine and pediatrics while also obtaining a degree in massage therapy and Bachelors in Nutrition.
After several years, she relocated to Orlando, FL to be closer to her immediate family and start her journey towards a more natural approach to medicine. Dr. Barton graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus in September of 2016 where she also became Webster certified (specific prenatal technique that allows for an optimal pregnancy and beyond).
To further her knowledge, Dr. Barton attended training as a Birth Doula through the Doula Organization of North America (DONA) International to help assist women during pregnancy and labor. She has also received her functional medicine certification from the University of Western State. Dr. Barton is currently completing her certification in prenatal and pediatric care with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
She became interested in the chiropractic field after a severe injury while working at the hospital that almost left her unable to obtain any quality of life. From then on, she has spread her passion about the positive influence of chiropractic care. Dr. Barton is extremely passionate about a holistic approach from the mind, body, and spirit, and enjoys any opportunity to educate others, young and old, on a natural and healthy lifestyle.
FUN FACT: Dr. Barton was once part of a hip-hop dance crew growing up.
DR. JESSE WILKEY

Jesse is originally from Kentucky, where she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician with a special focus on Applied Behavior Analysis for pediatric patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders. In 2017, she moved to Nashville, TN, to finish her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration. Three years later, she moved to St. Louis to study chiropractic at Logan University. She graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master's of Nutrition and Human Performance programs at Logan.
Jesse's passion for the chiropractic profession was ignited when she met her now father-in-law. He taught her about the different ways that chiropractic care can improve the nervous system, which in turn improves the health of the whole body. She became interested in chiropractic treatment during pregnancy and childhood after having her daughter in March 2022. Dr. Jesse has a toddler and a newborn at home.
FUN FACT: Jesse got engaged in Yvon, Haiti, and married on the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. The whole family loves to travel and make new memories together!
DR. ISABELLA MEEKS

Dr. Isabella is originally from Kentucky, where she pursued her undergraduate degree at Murray State University until graduating in December 2018 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. She continued her chiropractic education at Logan University in St. Louis, where she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April 2022. During her time at chiropractic school, she became interested in serving the pediatric and prenatal population.
Dr. Isabella is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has her Webster Certification, focusing on specialized care for women during their pregnancy. She has also obtained her Functional Medicine Academy Certified Practitioner certification, igniting her commitment to addressing the root causes of health issues.
Her approach focuses on healing from the inside out & emphasizes the importance of a strong foundation from birth. She is passionate about being an advocate for your health and a supportive member on your health journey.
Dr. Isabella is offering chiropractic care, functional medicine, and dry needling starting August 19th, 2024.
FUN FACT: Dr. Isabella has been to Steve Irwin's zoo in Australia.
DR. KOREY SHERIDAN
Chiropractic Physician
Every first Friday of the month from 9am - 1pm.
Dr. Korey Sheridan was raised in a small Kentucky town before moving to South Carolina to attend Newberry College for her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. She then graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2019 and moved to Smyrna, Tennessee to open a family practice with her husband in 2021. She has 3 sons who keep life full of fun and adventure. Dr. Korey's passion lies with prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. She loves helping families achieve their health goals by maximizing the connection between the brain and body through a well-adjusted spine at an early age. This passion led her to obtain certification in the Webster Technique to assist with proper pelvic alignment and nervous system function during pregnancy, pursue doula training through the Harbor Birth Institute in Nashville, obtain certification in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy through the Gillespie Method and attend additional training for pediatric chiropractic care with the Pediatric Experience.
FUN FACT: Dr. Korey played collegiate golf in South Carolina.
Autum DiScala
Office Manager
Autumn DiScala is empathetic, encouraging, and kind! She aims to achieve incredible results in all she does.
This is evident in how she walks with others as they take courageous steps in their healing journey! Whether through spiritual direction or health/life coaching, or even through a hello at the front desk, Autumn makes it her goal to build confidence and joy in others no matter what life may look like!
Autumn also has a Master’s in Divinity, is a certified Health and Life Coach, and is also a qualified, third-generation NRT practitioner! She grew up in the chiropractic and holistic health world, and believes it is the first (and best step!) on getting ahead of health challenges before they begin. Fun fact: Autumn is also passionate about art, dance (she was once a ballroom dance instructor!), and music! She also loves nature, traveling, and yummy health snacks! She really can talk for hours about any of these topics.
FUN FACT: Autumn is a life coach!
Vanessa Cohn

Vanessa is originally from the Chicago area, but loves living in Middle Tennessee because of the variety of hiking options there are in the state.
When she's not at Grassroots, you can find her training clients at the gym or coaching health clients online as an Integrative Health Practitioner. Her passion for holistic health and wellness encompasses her entire life, but will occasionally enjoy a Five Daughters donut for balance, and loves to help others on their health journey no matter where they start!
FUN FACT: Vanessa was a band kid, performing for 8 years in various marching bands.

FUN FACT: Dr. Barton just found out little Wrigley is deaf, but it definitely is NOT slowing him down. He is great at being adorable, cuddling, and making people smile.
