FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?
No, a referral is not needed in the state of Tennessee to see a chiropractor.
WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?
We do NOT accept any health insurances. However, if you'd like to use your benefits, we can provide a medical superbill you can submit for potential reimbursements. We DO accept FSA and HSA cards.
WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?
First, we will collect some basic information and then email new patient forms to be completed online at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. New patients are generally scheduled for 30-45 minutes. An oral history will be taken while reviewing your intake. A short orthopedic exam will follow to make sure you are a candidate for chiropractic care. If you are a good candidate, an adjustment will be part of the new patient exam. We collect an $90 deposit at the time of booking, to be applied to the initial visit. Lastly, we will schedule a 1 week follow-up appointment to see how your body holds the adjustment. Your doctor will then give you a plan for care going forward.
WHO CAN GET ADJUSTED?
WILL YOU TAKE X-RAYS?
If X-rays are deemed necessary after your exam, you will be referred out for imaging before treatment begins.
To get a better overall picture of your spine, we do implement the use of our Insight scanner which detects how efficiently your nervous system is functioning. Our scanner will measure heart rate variability, surface EMG and thermal to allow our staff to properly target your "problem areas" best.
